Ally & Calvin’s wedding day will forever be an amazing story of strength and love that can one day be told to their future generations. As their big day at Wedgewood Boulder Ridge, San Jose drew near- the news about the COVID-19 outbreak worsened. Together, they faced one obstacle after another. Over half their guest list dropped out- including their most loved elderly family members for fear of their health. Their venue nearly canceled on them. They had to worry about vendors dropping out last minute. And on top of all that- the forecast called for rain. But Ally and Calvin were determined to celebrate their love, come hell or high water. Life gave them lemons, and they made lemonade!
Julianna & Mike’s wedding at Club Los Meganos- Trilogy at the Vineyards in Brentwood was a classic winter wedding-minus the snow! Julianna wore an elegant strapless white dress with gorgeous lace and bow details. Mike came suited up in a sharp navy blue suit and brown leather shoes. The bridal party and florals had gorgeous accents of deep reds and crisp white.
Karen & Jeff’s nautical themed wedding at The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina in Vallejo fit their love story perfectly. Nestled right into a lovely sea-side marina, the couple tied the knot under the warm sun and vibrant palm trees. Everywhere you looked you could spot a nod to their love for the ocean with splashes of blues and marine-esque décor.
Elizabeth & David’s wedding in Half Moon Bay was the perfect blend of natural beauty and modern elegance. Situated just a stone’s throw from the sea side, the Oceano Hotel was the perfect backdrop for a gorgeous sunset ceremony with the waves crashing beyond the hotels garden. (Fun fact- David actually grew up nearby and worked at the restaurant across the street from their venue!) Add in some sharp black tux & bow ties, gorgeous emerald green dresses, a super sweet Dog-Of-Honor with a matching bow tie collar, and some newlywed photos right on the beach, and you have a wedding that will never be forgotten!
Gina and Jeff’s Morgan Creek Golf Club wedding was heavenly! From the lush greenery at Morgan Creek, to the dusty blue dresses and ties, to the beautiful white tent ceremony overlooking the sunset over the water- there was beauty in every corner! Add in some dreamy golden-hour photos and the most epic grand entrance, and you have yourself a wedding to remember.
Day two of Saumya and John’s epic weekend wedding celebration was a traditional and vibrant Hindu ceremony that took place at the beautiful Elliston Vineyards in Sunol. The pair traded in their white lace dress and suit for a stunning pink and gold embroidered Lehenga and sleek cream colored Sherwani. Of course, no Hindu wedding would be complete without a ceremony under a gorgeous Mandap and some jaw dropping group dances from the Bride, Groom, and their family and friends.
Saumya and John decided to have an amazing two-day wedding with their families and friends that honored both of their religions. Day one was a Catholic Ceremony held at the gorgeous Santa Clara University. Fun fact: Saumya had attended this University and John actually asked Saumya out one day after they attended mass together at this very same church! Both days were overflowing with love, color, and the most beautiful smiles you ever did see.
Roxana & David’s outdoor wedding at Rios-Lovell Estate Winery in Livermore was the perfect blend of summer and fall. With the warm golden sun, crisp air, crimson grape leaves, vibrant red bridesmaid dresses, and lush ceremony greenery – the wedding truly felt like two beautiful seasons in one. Add in Roxana’s stunning wedding dress, some sweet newlywed cuddles in the vineyard at sunset, and an epic mambo line dance, and you have a wedding that will never be forgotten!
Lindsey & Jake’s wedding at the Fern River Resort in Felton was a Northern California redwood dream! This magical, secluded property with towering redwoods, cascading ferns, and a refreshing river streaming past came complete with cabins for a majority of the guests to stay in which allowed for the wedding to be a full weekend celebration. Add in some golden California sunshine, gorgeous and unique floral arrangements that included fresh greenery native to the area, and an epic churro bar- and you’ve got a night to remember!
Chi and Dan’s wedding at Emeryville Marina Park & Hong Kong East Ocean Restaurant was a perfect celebration of the couple’s love story, surrounded by the nearest and dearest family and friends. From their adorable cat luggage tag wedding favors that symbolized their love for their fur babies, to their “Where in the World am I Sitting” seating chart that placed their guests at tables symbolizing all the various places throughout the world where their relationship had taken them. Add in a beautiful outdoor park right on the water and some amazing Chinese food, and you have a perfect evening to celebrate these two becoming a family of their own!
