Park Winters Wedding
Mai Nhia & Tong’s Park Winters wedding was filled with summer greens, pops of pink, and navy blues. It was a perfect summer gathering with dancing, music, and their nearest and dearest. Scroll on to see their beautiful, colorful wedding!

About The Couple
From the couple: We met 15 years ago and spent our high school years organizing youth programs at Hmong Women’s Heritage Association, one of the first non-profits in the Sacramento region serving Hmong women and youth. We connected instantly on our shared passion for social justice and our drive to make this world a better place. Although we separately pursued school and life dreams, our friendship and admiration for each other never waned (Facebook still reminds us every now and then of our check-ins and corny posts to each other). It was during our last year in college that we reconnected and realized that our deep friendship could be something more. With love, ambition, and only a few bucks, we moved to Washington, D.C. and our lives haven’t been the same since — grew our careers in national policy and government, bought a beautiful home, and built a community that we love here.
Q.Who made the first move? How?
Mai Nhia’s Story: Tong fell in love with me after we spent a summer in high school planning youth programs. I never knew until we reconnected toward the end of our college years. I guess I should’ve realized it that summer when he brought me a few bags of white peaches (my favorite!) from his family’s backyard. 🙂
Q. Who’s going to take out the trash?
Tong has and always will.
Q.What’s your favorite activity together?
We love checking out vineyards and wine tasting. We also love going on lake house and beach house trips with our friends and families.
Q.Where are you going for your honeymoon?
Hawaii!
Q.What’s the most memorable trip you have taken together?
We went swimming in some of the most beautiful cenotes in Tulum, Mexico. We also took a trip to France and Spain, where we learned that it was cheaper to buy and drink wine than water. We hope to go back soon! Oh, and another best trip was seeing Chance the Rapper live in Virginia Beach! #bestconcertever
Q.A life goal of ours:
Is to develop a Sacramento scholarship program for students to receive full college funding, as well as professional development resources to pursue careers in policy and government.
Q.We are regulars at:
Our friends’ houses on Fridays and Saturdays. Thanks for feeding us all of these years, friends.

Client Love Notes
“We loved, loved, loved working with Corinna on our wedding day. From the moment we interviewed Corinna, we knew she was the perfect match. Her interest in getting to know us as a couple was reflected in how she told our love story through the photos that she captured. She’s organized and provided so many resources throughout the wedding planning process, including a day-of timeline for the photo sessions and a wedding guide for the couple.
Corinna’s incredibly talented and made the photo sessions on the wedding day so comfortable for everyone in our wedding party and families. Our wedding party and families only had great things to say! Corinna guided us through different poses and made sure we had the right people at the right time for the photos since our families are huge. She captured such special moments throughout the day and sent us our photos within two weeks! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer. Corinna’s talent is unmatched – the quality, attention to detail, and positive energy were beyond what we could’ve imagined for our wedding day. We know Corinna will always be our go-to photographer from now on! THANK YOU for making our wedding day so special and memorable!
We highly, highly recommend Corinna as a photographer for your special day. You’ll absolutely love her!”
