Amy and Eric have successfully jumped through countless hurdles in the name of love. After being engaged for nearly four years, this pair decided it was finally time to tie the knot, pandemic or not. Although their upcoming backyard wedding may not have been their original plan, their life has such exciting changes in the near future for them, and they can’t wait to do them together as Husband and Wife. I was honored to capture a few moments for them during their wedding portrait session at The Gardens at Heather Farm in Walnut Creek.

About The Couple

Amy and Eric met through mutual friends over a decade ago. It all started when they met up with a group at a bar (back when going out with bars was a wonderful thing to do!). Amy remembers teasing Eric a bit during their initial introduction to each other, but Eric was so love struck with Amy’s beauty that he hardly noticed.

This pair have been glued at the hip for nine years now, and four of which they have spent engaged! They will be soon trading in their Bay Area homes for a sunny spot in San Diego as Amy relocates for a job. Before they go, Amy & Eric will be having an intimate backyard wedding in her sister’s backyard to say their I Do’s and start this next life adventure together as a married couple.

Thank you both so much for our incredibly fun time together during our Gardens at Heather Farm wedding photo session. I loved chatting with you two as we explored the trees, endless flower beds, and golden hill side. You two have such a kind, down-to-earth genuine vibe to you- I was honestly sad when our time together was finished! I could’ve kept chatting with you two the entire night. I’m so excited for you two to start this next life chapter together in San Diego. Be sure to hit up Better Buzz coffee and Taco Surf burritos when you arrive. They won’t disappoint. Client’s Review: “Corinna is the best and I would highly recommend her! She is super friendly, professional and very passionate about her work. My fiancé and I were starting to plan our wedding and were looking for a photographer. Our friends had recently gotten married and I saw the beautiful pictures that Corinna captured for them. We ended up booking a wedding portrait session with Corinna as we were still in the midst of planning our micro-wedding and had not yet picked a date but I didn’t want to miss a chance to work with Corinna! Corinna was super flexible and understanding when the original location we wanted was not allowing photo sessions due to COVID-19 guidelines. We had to change our session location and date a few times, which was stressful but Corinna was so patient and helpful through it all. In the end, it was all worth the wait! On the day of our session, my fiancé and I were pretty nervous but Corinna made our photo session so easy and fun. Her energy, excitement and enthusiasm were contagious! We didn’t feel awkward at all. She was so sweet and it honestly felt like we were hanging out with a good friend. I felt so sad when our session was over! We ended up having such a great time and it truly was a magical evening which she captured beautifully. I was so impressed with how quickly she turned the photos around (way ahead of schedule!).
