I had so much fun with Donna and Matthew at their Lake Herman Benicia engagement session. This sweet pair was planning to tie the knot this year, but joined the many other couples who were forced to postpone. They decided to turn lemons into lemonade and use this time as a perfect chance to take more photos of this special chapter in their lives!
Donna and Matthew are photographers as well! They are very talented portrait and lifestyle photographers serving the Stockton area. Matthew popped the question to Donna at a gorgeous garden. The happened to be standing on a bridge, overlooking a peaceful babbling brook when Matthew got down on one knee and popped the question. A loved one was just behind them filming the whole thing for them! Donna was in such shock that at first she thought Matthew was lying after he asked for her hand in marriage! I’m happy to report that he was most certainly not lying! The two planned to get married this March but their big plans were spoiled by the COVID-19 lockdown. While they were forced to postpone to next year, they are making the most out of having a little bit of extra time to call one another their fiancé.
Donna and Matthew- thank you so much for allowing me to photograph you at Lake Herman in Benicia. I had so much fun exploring the area with you two! Ya’ll handled the wind and adventuring around for the best spots with such grace! I loved learning more about your passions and love story. It’s so nice to connect with another photographer in the area! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do, and please don’t be a stranger. I hope we can connect again soon!
Client Review: “Corinna was so kind and sweet to work with! She definitely has an eye for amazing light and captures beautiful photos! We love our engagement photos and can not recommend her enough! If you’re in the Bay Area, she definitely is your girl! :)”
