Monica & Chris’s Lovers Lane, San Francisco engagement session threw both me and the couple by surprise. We all departed our homes in the East Bay, were temps where in the 80s, and arrived in the city, only to be greeted by a windy, foggy, chilly 50 degrees! It was like we had left the summer season, and teleported right into fall. But that didn’t stop us from having a gorgeous session! Monica & Chris didn’t blink an eye at the freezing temperatures and we went on to capture some truly beautiful moments.
Monica and Chris are both athletic people and naturally met playing sports. Monica’s mom ran a soccer league that they both played in. When Chris joined the team, they sensed an attraction toward one another, but quickly became friends. Since Monica’s brothers were also on the team, it was a running joke that Chris had met the entire family right off the bat. Monica was the one to make the first move beyond soccer friends, and asked Chris to go out with her. The rest was history from that first date. Stay tuned for their wedding post where I tell you all about their Tahoe engagement!
Monica & Chris – Thank you again for allowing me to capture your gorgeous Lovers Lane, San Francisco engagement session! You two made freezing cold weather look effortless. I won’t forget how perfectly you two nailed that dip-and-kiss pose. I really hope you save that move for your first dance! Also, congrats on your new home!! Ya’ll are such an incredible couple to be planning a wedding admits a pandemic AND buying a home in the Bay Area. Both those things are extrememly challenging on their own, let alone at the same time! I hope you are settling into your new home nicely and will fill it with so many happy memories- and wedding photos! 😉
