Saumya and John decided to have an amazing two-day wedding with their families and friends that honored both of their religions. Day one was a Catholic Ceremony held at the gorgeous Santa Clara University. Fun fact: Saumya had attended this University and John actually asked Saumya out one day after they attended mass together at this very same church! Day two was a vibrant Hindu Ceremony held at Elliston Vineyards-more on this day in a future post. Both days were overflowing with love, color, and the most beautiful smiles you ever did see!
Day 1 started with a sweet First Look with Saumya and John wearing traditional western wedding clothing- a stunning white wedding dress with a gorgeous train and lace detail and a sharp navy suit with a red satin bow-tie. The couple privately exchanged their own personal vows together prior to the ceremony, reading each other’s love note while holding hands amongst the lush green vegetation on campus. Saumya and John snuggled up for some photos near some beautiful blooming rose bushes and around the lovely historical architecture the campus had to offer, including the grand Mission Church with it’s regal tan stone walls and wood doors. After their Catholic mass, the pair and their families and friends headed to dinner and to dance the night away at a nearby Fiorillos Restaurant.
To Saumya and John – I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of such a magical weekend of love! I kept pondering which day of festivities I was going to be the most excited about, but concluded that it was truly impossible to decide. Both days held so much fun, excitement and love that I didn’t want either of them to end! It’s safe to say that I’ve never met a couple more joyous than you two. The way you treat each other and everyone around you is so wonderfully warm and unforgettable. You guys really light up a room with your love! Anyone can plainly see that only the brightest future awaits you as you enter this next chapter together as Husband and Wife. I’m honored to have been chosen to document this transition for you two, and hope you are enjoying your sweet Maldives & India honeymoon!

“Corinna is the BEST wedding photographer EVER! She is so kind, so fun, and her work is beautiful! She went above and beyond for our engagement shoot and for both our wedding days (we had a Hindu and Catholic wedding). She was so communicative, and responsive, and made both the days feel like a breeze. She was also helpful when there were any last minute changes in our wedding agenda and even jumped in to help! You will love the energy she brings, especially because it helped us be comfortable on camera. You should look no further for a photographer because you just stumbled upon an amazing person and professional!”
