When Mercedes asked me to photograph her and Nick again, this time with their little fur baby pups as a family session- I jumped with joy at the opportunity! Many may know that I am a total dog lover, and although they aren’t always the easiest to photograph compared to their human parents, I always enjoy a session that involves some puppy love. They always add a little bit of personality and a whole lot of fun into the photos! And these pups, Peppermint and Brownie, were no exception to this.
Mercedes mentioned during the session that she can hardly remember a time in her life without her beloved pups, Peppermint and Brownie. Both are over a decade old and still have the sweet puppy vibe to them! Nick said he was happy to become the stepdad to these cuties when him and Mercedes got together several years ago. I love the matching sweet names this pair have and will be anxiously waiting to see what Mercedes and Nick may name any future pup they get together. We had a great time together at the Point Pinole Regional Shoreline park. This park is special because of it’s amazing natural beauty of the rows of eucalyptus trees surrounded by tall, golden grass fields. But also because the entire park is off-leash dog friendly, meaning little Brownie and Peppermint were free to roam and explore during our time there. Keep scrolling to see all the cuteness these dogs had with their parents below!
To Mercedes, Nick, Brownie, and Peppermint- thank you so much for letting me photograph your adorable little family! I still can’t get over how amazingly cute the fur babies looked in their bowtie and pearls. Or how hilarious Brownie looked posted up in Nick’s lap on the blanket- keeping her eye out for dogs passing by. I honored to have had the opportunity to photograph you guys again, this time with the addition of your little ones! Also, I’m so glad your wedding planning sounds like its coming along smoothly. I’m so excited for your big day and can’t wait for it to get here!
